About this Workshop
Love your fur baby? We get it. That’s why we created a class where we will help you print their face on a piece of fabric that will turn into a couch throw pillow before the end of the class.
You will provide your favorite image of your pet to ALT one (1) calendar week prior to the event so we can convert into a printable image. On the big day, we will help you print your fabric piece(s) with your pet’s image along with some other fun graphics we will have set up. The second half of the class will be dedicated to a simple sewing session to create your custom pillow cover.
The class fee includes all of the materials to print and sew your own pillow sham. The pillow insert is also included. This workshop is a true make and take. Your pillow will be ready for cuddling as soon as you walk out the door.
All printing and sewing skill levels are welcome. We will be with you every step of the way to create this awesome keepsake.
The class fee includes all materials needed to screen print one pillow and you may bring your own shirt if you would like to print your favorite pet to wear. As these items do make fantastic gifts, additional materials will be available at an additional cost to print on.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty. Screen-printing is a process intended to make permanent fixtures to fabric so the ink will stain.
We ask that you arrive a few minutes before the class begins to get settled and check out the shop.
Printmaking is a generally safe process. However, A.L.T. Printing Co. assumes no liability for accidents or injuries. Each participant will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to the workshop.
Registration for classes will typically close 24hours before the start of the class. This allows A.L.T to prepare and ensure a wicked awesome class for everyone signed up.
Our shop has limited space and our workshops are planned out for a certain number of participants. Due to the time and cost of purchasing and prepping materials, workshops are non-refundable. We understand that plans change. If a cancellation is needed, you must cancel 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop date to receive a credit for another workshop. We will allow you to transfer your spot to another person. If that’s the case, just give us a call and let us know ahead of time.
Workshops may be cancelled due to low registration. A.L.T. Printing Co. will notify registered participants of the cancellation at least 2 days prior to the scheduled workshop. A full refund or an offer to reschedule will both be offered in the event of cancellations.
